A few months ago, The Eastside Boys and Girls Club announced that they’ll be closing their East Side Branch in early June in the Tacoma Weekly.
Last year, the South End Branch closed sending those youth to the East Side Branch.  Now this fall the youth will be "shipped" four miles away to a new location at the old Mount Tacoma High School housed under the (HOPE) Organization.  It is good that there are organizations in place to pick up the pieces when it comes to programs that have been …
